What does this mean?
Windows 10 support will end on October 14, 2025, and Microsoft will no longer provide security updates, technical support, or fixes for the operating system. Although Windows 10 will still work, it will be more vulnerable to security risks. Microsoft recommends transitioning to Windows 11
What are my options?
The first option is to upgrade your operating system from Windows 10 to Windows 11, making sure your device is compatible with Windows 11. If it isn’t compatible, the best choice would be to select a new or refurbished computer that either comes with Windows 11 pre-installed or can be upgraded to it.
What if I just keep using Windows 10
This is always an option; however, it is strongly advised against, as it puts your information at risk. Without ongoing Windows updates, your device won’t receive critical patches for vulnerabilities, leaving it exposed to hacking, viruses, and potential data breaches
